In this ceremony, the EPU Rector, Prof. Dr. Edrees Muhamad Tahir Harki, the General Director in the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research Asst. In another activity, the fourth-grade students of the Erbil Technical Health and Medical College Physiotherapy Department, supervised by Dr. Mahdi Khalid, the Head of the department, visited Erbil Bazaar and Qaisariya Market. They distributed several awareness brochures regarding physiotherapy’s role in Cerebral Palsy sickness among citizens, shop owners, and business people.
In the exhibition, people with ideas (hidden talents, experts, graduates, students) can win unique prizes. The university envisions the achievement of excellence that will make it one of the top ranking universities in the region and the world. The Catholic University in Erbil, in partnership with USAID, is launching BEEM to support minorities in the IKR and Ninewa Plains—especially IDPs—by providing job skills training that improves access to employment and strengthens livelihoods.

The workshop aims to identify the research’s weaknesses and strengths, the extent of the researcher’s commitment to the steps of scientific research, and the benefit provided by the research to science. Thus, the evaluation contributes to raising the quality of scientific research, and the evaluator must adhere to the ethics of scientific research, which include sincerity, honesty, and integrity in work. These annual assessments employ meticulously crafted evaluation forms to accurately gauge and enhance teaching performance, ensuring continuous improvement in faculty development. CUE provides the learners the good learning environment by offering one month course, four months courses, and one year course. So that the course is designed to match different level, English learners. Their course book and workbook are designed to help them learn and understand vocabulary, reading, writing, listening, and speaking with some grammar issues in English at their English level.
Upon successful completion of the five-year program, students earn a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, qualifying them for employment across a wide range of public and private healthcare institutions. The College features state-of-the-art laboratories and facilities supporting core disciplines such as Pharmacognosy, Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, and Pharmacology. Students also benefit from structured practical training in hospitals and community pharmacies, including placements at Marayamana Hospital in Erbil, which provides valuable real-world clinical exposure. Guided by CUE’s commitment to academic excellence, ethical values, and community engagement, the College of Pharmacy is dedicated to producing well-rounded, ethical, and globally competent pharmacists who are prepared to meet the evolving health needs of society at both national and international levels. The mission of the Department of Medical Devices Technical Engineering is to equip students with relevant skills through modern curricula, aligning with various scientific and practical sectors that demonstrate the significance of this field. The department fosters creativity and innovation in teaching medical devices technology, aiming to establish local partnerships with healthcare institutions in Iraq and contribute to international scientific research.

In another part of the ceremony, Mr. Burhan Argushi, advisor to the Ministry of Education, represented by Education Minister Dr. Alan Hama-Saeed, delivered a speech after thanking the President of Cihan University-Erbil. He discussed the importance of education and the role of teachers in the development and education of future generations, as well as the importance of courses and the development of teachers’ ability to improve the course of science in education centers and educate students with modern science and innovation. In another part of his speech, his Excellency Prof. Dr. Edrees Muhamad Tahir Harki mentioned the university lecturers’ significant roles, which are the vertebrae of the University who have an essential challenging task in developing the future generation. Our universities always need new lecturers to continue the education process in the right way; for this reason, the pedagogy courses are necessary factors in creating qualified teachers to serve and develop the Kurdistan Region’s future generation. The Central Library at Al-Zahraa University for Women earned one of the Iraqi Knowledge Reward that rewarded by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, after being ranked within the best Universities libraries in Iraq across public and private Universities and Faculties. The event concluded with the graduates reciting the general and professional oaths, followed by the honoring of top-performing students with gifts and shields presented by the University President, members of the University Council, the Presidency of the Northern Technical University, and the Engineers Syndicate. Best wishes were extended to the graduates for continued contributions in service to their beloved country.
